MU Origin, the popular MMORPG for mobile, has been given a brand new update. The level cap has been raised, log-in rewards have been tweaked, and there are a few new challenges to test your warriors’ mettle.
To kick things off, the developers have introduced a fun mini-game that serves as an easy way to pick up some extra loot. Dice Master is a board game featuring tiles peppered with treasure, gems, boss raids and more, all you’ve got to do is roll the dice. You receive 5 free rolls per day, and can pay for more if you fancy your chances.
Back to the main game, there’s a fresh dungeon defence challenge in the form of Server Dungeon Cry Wolf (try saying that in a hurry). It’s up to you to keep the sacred Cry Wolf statue safe, as 15 waves of enemies clearly bearing a grudge against stone monuments try to bring it down. Depending on how intact it is by the end, and how intact you are too, you’ll receive rewards including EXP, Zen and Wolf Dust.
The Wolf Dust can be used to buy Soul Gems. A new evolution of Soul Stones, Soul Gems provide players with elemental powers. They can be combined and upgraded to change their properties and enhance their strength.
And if that wasn’t enough, there’s a competitive guild tournament to tackle, too. Cry Wolf Battle pits guilds against each other as they invade and occupy forts of varying levels. When your guild is controlling a fort, it’s down to you to defend against rivals. Each victory brings with it rewards, but the greatest challenge is the level 10 fort. Whichever guild has managed to take over this fort will be ranked at the head of the leader board and receive honorary titles that last until they’re knocked off the top spot.
Plenty to do in the land of MU, then. You can download MU Origin for free from Google Play and the App Store.
